Anne Stahl website and graphic design

 testimonials and reviews

"When the Democratic Party of San Luis Obispo set out to create a new web presence, we had five basic requirements: simple to navigate, easy to update, visually appealing, easy to download materials, and the ability to link to a broad range of resources. We also had a very short timeline of less than six weeks to bring up the new website. Working with Anne Stahl Design, we were able to achieve all of our objectives. We have been especially pleased with how the site looks and navigates, as these are the first experiences our audience have with the website and a good first impression is important. Anne Stahl's considerable creative talents are evident throughout the site. She was very resourceful and responsive in the design and implementation. Overall, our experience was extremely productive and enjoyable."

"The judges at DesignFirms.org would like to announce that your site has been found as one of the best on the Internet and hereby award you with the DesignFirms Web Design Award."

"Anne took our plain vanilla web site and transformed it into a functional, attractive, easy to navigate, quick-loading web site we are proud to have represent us. Throughout the process, Anne was professional, courteous and patient. My husband and I are rather meticulous and can be "fussy", but Anne handled it with aplomb, making a myriad of adjustments without complaint. We ended up feeling like it was team effort, and have recommended Anne to a number of business acquaintances and friends. Oh, she did it on time and on budget -- what more can one ask!"

Review of: Paintings by Anne Stahl on Website Critique

Reviewer comments:
Yes the look and feel match very good. Visually I would say it aligned sense of what the site is all about. Sure very plain site but clear what it is about. My initial reaction was that the site is simple so there was not much of a reaction.

  • Graphics appropriate to the subject -- I would say it has very few graphics that seem superfluous or unnecessary.
  • Color: Is the color scheme appealing? It is very plain, and yes, your eye is drawn to the most important elements
  • Usability: primary content clearly accessible. There were no "HELP" or "Site Map" buttons, but the content is clearly defined. I could easily see "About" and security information
  • Function: the site is very fast loading load with very few distracting elements
  • Navigation: very straight forward and there was no technology required in order to use the site. Buttons and links send you where you expect to go -- no Frames or Pop-ups
